Your Responsibilities:

General

• Set a good example for the QA/QC teams in the areas of ethics, cultural sensitivity, teamwork, and quality behaviours.

• Analyse, report, give recommendations and developing strategies on how to improve quality performance.

• Achieve business and organization goals, vision and objectives.

• Be proactive in identifying areas of improvement and create suitable action plans to support the flexible and agile nature of the business

• Schedule Management Review Meetings in accordance with corporate requirements and facilitate the running of the meetings, produce minutes and track actions to closure.

• Prepare monthly / annual reports to the Quality Senior Leadership as per the reporting calendar.

• Exercise objectivity when defining findings from audits with a pragmatic view to the spirit of the system and the requirements of the applicable standards.

• Create as required complimentary country departmental objectives which support the global operational objectives.

• Utilize where possible more efficient methods of communication / travel to maximize cost effectiveness of the country quality activities, to minimize departmental expenditures.

• Ensure Quality Management system software is being used within the country and facilitate as necessary any training or improvements suggestions for the software application(s).

• Support early engagement with the Project Team and assist the Project QA/QC Managers with the QA/QC Project start up activities.

• Communicate regularly with project teams and ensure all QA/QC reports pertaining to the project / department processes are issued to them as per the reporting calendar.

• Promote HSSE best practices.

• Any other duties as assigned from time to time.

ii. Quality Assurance

• Arranges and conducts QA Induction in consultation with QA Manager.

• Conduct scheduled audits across the business units & function in the region as assigned by the Regional QA/QC Manager.

• Prepare reports. Assign non-conformities to the auditees for redressal after review by QA Manager.

• Follow-up and closure of NCs in concurrence with QA Manager.

• Supports Country QA Manager and QA Manager on all QA activities.

• Supports Projects on all QA activities.

• Prepare the audit schedules.

• Conduct sub-contractor and vendor audits and reviews as required (or delegate to suitably qualified personnel).

• Review the current policies/ processes/ procedures and recommend improvements.

• Assist with the development of project specific QA/QC documentation within the guidelines of the IMS Management of change process.

• Schedule/ Facilitate Management Review Meetings in accordance with corporate requirements.

Skills and Responsibilities

Diploma holder or higher qualification - Degree holder preferred

• Knowledge of the ISO-9000 series International Standards

• Quality Management certification (preferred)

• Competency in the written and spoken business Language of the Region of employment

• Competency in English a benefit when not a first language (IELTS score of 6.5/ TOEFL score 79-93)

• Lead Auditor certification from a recognized organization

• Conversant with applicable industry standards and specifications In addition to the responsibilities listed herein, the employee may be required to perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor or management. These tasks will be within the reasonable scope of the employee's skills, capabilities, and role within the organization. The intent of this provision is to allow for flexibility and adaptability in meeting the dynamic needs of the organization, ensuring that operational requirements can be met efficiently. All such tasks will be assigned considering the employee's current workload and with respect to their professional development.
