PEI Inspector (API 510 & 570)
We are seeking highly skilled and qualified API 510/570 Inspectors to join our client on contract assignment for their upcoming major turnaround. The incumbents will be responsible for conducting inspections, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and providing expert analysis to support maintenance and repair activities.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform API 510 (Pressure Vessel) and API 570 (Piping) inspections as required.
  • Assess the integrity of equipment, identifying areas for repair or replacement.
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to ensure safe and efficient turnaround operations.
  • Participate in pre-turnaround planning meetings and provide input on inspection schedules and logistics.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records of all inspections and findings.
Qualifications:
  • Industry Qualifications in the Oil & Gas Industry
  • Valid API 510 and API 570 certifications.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in inspection preferably in Turnaround Events within the oil and gas industry.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced turnaround environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Must be able to work minimum 10 hr shifts
  • Must be able to work in the Fort Saskatchewan, AB for the duration of the contract Turnaround Term.
  • Valid Driver’s Licence
  • Willing and able to take a company D&A test
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada (i.e., by way of Canadian citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work permit)
