Job Description:
As a GIS Transmission Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting renewable energy projects in Lenexa, United States. You will be responsible for analyzing and managing geospatial data related to transmission lines and infrastructure, ensuring the efficient and reliable delivery of electricity generated from renewable sources.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize GIS software to analyze and visualize transmission line data
• Support the planning and design of transmission infrastructure for renewable energy projects
• Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize transmission routes and minimize environmental impact
• Develop and maintain geodatabases to track transmission line assets and maintenance schedules
• Generate reports and maps to communicate transmission analysis findings to stakeholders

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, Engineering, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in GIS analysis, preferably in the energy or utilities sector
• Proficiency in GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar tools
• Knowledge of transmission line design principles and regulations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
