JOB DESCRIPTION

Wood is currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Storeperson to ensure that all materials received are located, stored, and preserved in accordance with company standard policies and procedures, with all daily and forecast material requests to the Warehouse at the Lytton Refinery in Brisbane, Australia.

This role has re-opened as we're seeking experienced Warehouse Storeperson who hold a current forklift license AND can drive/maintain a forklift.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Storeperson with a proven track record in fast paced logistics and warehousing background, ideally with an understanding of spareparts or servicing mechanical parts.

In this role, you will ensure that all aspects from work orders, receipts (inward and outward), inventory, parts, materials and inventory are maintained and delivered efficiently daily.

Be a vital part of a team that produces and distributes petroleum and oil lubricants in the energy sector within Brisbane, the greater Queensland region and Australia.

For 10+ years, Wood has held a Maintenance contract at the Lytton Refinery in Brisbane, Australia and have been heavily imbedded into the Ampol culture with a strong focus on team alignment across the contracting teams.

Our team of engineers, planners, supervisors, team leads, quality control, contract management, mechanical and electrical technicians, logistics, payroll, site administration, project management and human resourcing are committed in producing and distributing petroleum and fuel safely and efficiently to customers and stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key objectives for this role are:
  • Locating of receipted materials delivered to the Refinery
  • Picking of daily materials requirements
  • Returning excess materials to store
  • External dispatch of materials/items.

Expected:
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a warehouse Storeperson / dispatcher/materials officer
  • Must have a current forklift licence,
  • Ideally a spare parts background
  • Materials handling and management, preferably in refining or related heavy industry environments
  • Good level of computer literacy, with experience in SAP or similar system/s being desirable.
