Role Overview

• Oversee all construction activities and contractors on-site, ensuring adherence to project HSE plans and quality standards.
• Attend daily coordination meetings and maintain detailed records of work quality.
• Monitor and report progress of field activities according to agreed measurement systems.
• Define and manage scope of work for additional tasks, obtaining necessary approvals before execution.
• Prepare meeting notes for progress meetings with contractors and management.
• Stay informed about upcoming activities of contractors and vendors.
• Ensure all construction work meets contractual quality requirements.
• Report progress of construction contracts and vendor activities to Construction Management.
• Advise Construction Management on performance of contractors and vendor specialists.
• Prepare preliminary and final mechanical completion certificates for review and signature by Construction Management.
• Track material delivery issues and address site queries.
• Ensure no work is carried out without proper approvals, including submittals, shop drawings, and engineering documents. Oversee inspections and testing of specialized work.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong background in construction coordination, particularly in the energy, chemical, or industrial sectors.
• Proven ability to efficiently manage contractors, vendors, and project scopes.
• Extensive knowledge of HSE standards and quality control in construction.
• Experience in tracking and reporting project progress in line with contractual requirements.
• Must be located within a commutable distance of the Deventer area.
• Fluent in English; Dutch language skills preferred.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• experience in construction coordination, preferably in the energy or chemical sectors.
• Certifications in HSE or relevant fields advantageous.
