Pricing Manager

Your role and responsibilities

The Pricing analyst will play an integral role in the enhancing the pricing analytical capabilities of ABB-EL. Utilized by sales and marketers for business intelligence activities. The Pricing analyst will impact profitability and NPV through strategic, operational and tactical pricing modeling. This position will report to the pricing manager. • Supporting the team with work in database management, data analytics and modelling. • Analyze volume/price/mix/share interactions by trade area, customer, product line, agreement type, regions, salesperson. • Ability to detect database errors and misinformation and interpret the business impact as well as being able to propose data solutions and products. • Provide trustworthy advice and guidance to the business while building strong relationships, driving targets and managing expectations. • Transform data requests and business challenges into data products which drive action, automation and added value. • Able to conduct an analytical task from start to finish data collection, data cleansing, data mining and analysis, reporting results. • Ability to effectively influence decision makers through analytics. • Knowledge of data visualization techniques and tools (Tableau or Power BI) would be considered an asset.

Qualifications for the role

  • Relevant diploma combined with minimum of 5 Years of experience in a commercial or analytics role.
  • Strong relationship builder and assertive, good facilitation and influencing skills.
  • Self-motivator with ability to work independently and as a contributing team member.
  • Advanced user of Excel (formulas, macros).
  • Ability to prioritize work and follow through on deadlines in a fast paced and ever-changing environment.
