Emerson Test and Measurement is looking for an Senior Software Engineer with a passion for C# to help modernize and maintain our exisitng hardware testing framework. In this role, you will be part of team who are tasked to bring an existing and critical hardware testing framework to a State of Art, bullet proof, autorecovery solution. As a senior you are extepted to solve challenging technical problems, and guide, coach, mentor colleagues.

The tools we own are critical for our HW testig tools, In cooperation with the underlying IT Services it's our mission to provide trusted, available, user friendly solutions to our Professional Tester teams that enables them to bring ther best.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Re-write, refactor, and modernize functionalities with the latest C# standards, ensuring performance improvements, compatibility enhancements, and stable operation.
• Analyze existing requirements, solutions, and codebases (C#, LabVIEW, TestStand) to determine the best course of action.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the framework in strict cooperation with Test Engineering.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure that projects meet user expectations, performance, and reliability standards.

You continually scan the environment for technology breakthroughs. You facilitate an open dialogue with a wide variety of contributors and stakeholders. You quickly and decisively take actions in fact-changing, unpredictable situations.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field and 5+ years of experience in software development.
• A deep love and praise for C#.
• Proven knowledge of Docker & Kubernetes.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and experience resolving complex software issues.
• An ambitious and collaborative approach to thrive and excel within a distributed team.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Hands-on experience with hardware.
• A passion for code quality and continuous improvement.
