Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the complete project lifecycle from initial feasibility and conceptual design (FEED) through to completion, ensuring timely, cost-effective delivery.
  • Develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, and work plans, including resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams (e.g., mechanical, civil, electrical, instrumentation) to ensure the integration of all technical and operational aspects of the project.
  • Monitor and control project performance, making adjustments as necessary to achieve goals.
  • Conduct regular project reviews with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Manage all aspects of procurement, including defining technical specifications, evaluating vendor proposals, and overseeing the procurement process.
  • Lead risk management processes, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation plans.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate and conduct design reviews, HAZOP studies, and other safety-related assessments.
  • Ensure the quality of project deliverables, reviewing designs, technical documentation, and drawings to meet project requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver project progress reports, financial reports, and risk assessments to senior management and clients.
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure the timely and quality execution of tasks.
  • Lead and mentor project teams, providing guidance on technical, operational, and managerial aspects of the project.
  • Ensure effective communication among all project stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and internal departments.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Project Management).
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in managing large-scale engineering and construction projects, ideally in the oil and gas sector.
  • Strong knowledge of EPC project processes, from design to commissioning.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in risk management and mitigation strategies.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
  • Strong understanding of safety, quality, and environmental standards in the oil and gas industry.
  • Candidates should have strong backgrounds in engineering design and construction within the oil and gas industry. Experience with globally recognized companies such as Technip Energies, Fluor Corporation, Jacobs Engineering Group, KBR, Worley, McDermott International, Petrofac, Aker Solutions, Subsea 7, Wood, EniProgetti, Petrojet, Enppi, and EPPM is preferred. Familiarity with the practices and standards of these companies will streamline the assessment process.
