We are seeking an experienced Vessel Technical Superintendent to manage the technical operations of vessels assigned to our offshore project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in offshore/marine contracting or the oil & gas industry, with expertise in vessel maintenance, compliance, and repair management.

Function description

As a Vessel Technical Superintendent, you will be responsible for:

• Overseeing the technical management of project-deployed vessels.
• Ensuring compliance with flag and class regulations through effective liaison with relevant authorities.
• Managing planned maintenance systems (PMS) to ensure optimal vessel performance.
• Coordinating dockings and afloat repairs to maintain vessel integrity and functionality.
• Providing technical expertise and support to project teams as needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Technical Superintendent in offshore/marine contracting or the oil & gas industry.
• Familiarity with flag and class requirements.
• Proficiency in planned maintenance systems (PMS).
• Experience with dockings and repairs afloat.
• Preferred experience in heavy lift/lift-systems, dredging/winch systems, and mobilizations or conversions.
• Knowledge of the maritime market in North-West Europe.
