We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Controls Lead to join our Oil & Gas client's team, on a 12-month contract in Houston, TX. In this role, you will:

Oversee project controls and performance management for multiple non-operated projects across various stages, ensuring alignment with the company's guidance and the OBO framework. Responsibilities include project setup, cost estimation, schedule planning, budget monitoring, forecasting, and reporting. This role requires strong stakeholder engagement and the ability to translate Operator input into actionable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead performance management, providing cost/schedule analysis and value of work done (VOWD).
• Review and integrate Operator reports into internal project performance metrics.
• Liaise with Operator counterparts to ensure quality and timely deliverables.
• Assess Operator inputs to meet the company's governance, assurance, and forecasting needs.
• Develop conceptual cost estimates in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Support corporate planning, resourcing, and budget development.
• Conduct Schedule & Cost Risk Analysis (SCRA) as needed.
• Stay engaged in industry events to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Business (Finance/Accounting), Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and committed to accuracy.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Proficiency in Project Controls tools such as Unifier, Ecosys, P6, PRA, Milestone Professional, Acumen Fuse, and Safran.
• Expertise in cost engineering principles and practices.

Experience:

• 10+ years in project controls within Offshore, Deepwater, and Subsea projects.
• Strong background in cost control, preferably in owner-team roles on major capital projects.
• Experience with project management systems, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Non-operated project experience is a plus.
