We are currently recruiting for a Service Contract Technical Writer to work in a 3 - month contract with the possibility of extension. The position is based in Paris, and it can be worked either from the office or from home.
Job Description:
The company's fleet of power plants is made up of CCGTs in Europe and the USA. Some of these plants are operated and maintained by a service provider through a service contract. The objective of the mission is to assist a subsidiary of the group in drafting the technical specifications of a maintenance and operation contract for a fleet of power plants as part of a renewal call for tenders.
As part of the mission, you report to the Maintenance Manager. You will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Learn about existing Operation and Maintenance contracts. Summarize them and provide a working basis for the new specifications to be written.
- Organize workshops with HSE, operations, maintenance and IT entities to understand the specific needs of the sites. Also be a source of proposals.
- Translate operational needs into the technical specifications through the writing of Exhibits of the contract.
- Liaise with the purchasing/contract and legal teams to align the technical Exhibits with the main body of the contract and the Company's requirements.
- Define a technical evaluation grid to evaluate and select bidders.
- Analyses of the existing contracts / technical scope of the contract and development of the summary.
- Definition of the scope / strategy with concerned sites (following the workshops).
- Technical development / creation of the technical exhibits of the service (Operations & Maintenance) contract.
- Define technical evaluation grid to select the O&M services bidders.
- Proven experience in writing technical Exhibits to service contracts.
- Writing skills in English and a spirit of synthesis allowing you to write technical Exhibits of a service contract.
- The ability to lead brainstorming workshops and synthesize them.
- Engineering degree / bac+5.
- Knowledge in the maintenance and operation of industrial installations.
