Your role and responsibilities:

In this role, D&A has to play a critical role. With the new direction and focused approach to monitor and measure the key performance metrics, Data Analytics organization (D&A) orchestrated the vision for the D&A in alignment with the ABB Way by translating business strategy into D&A strategy. The new D&A strategy enables ABB to meet emerging business demands, address pressing challenges and propel ABB to gain and maintain its competitive edge.

This role is contributing to the IS Services in India. You will be mainly accountable for:

• Translate business requirements to develop functional specifications and wireframe for analytics solutions.
• Identify and sharpen the business need, provide knowledge of business processes, and help to identify and to understand relevant data and define how results should be evaluated.
• Understand and analyze drivers of financial performance and KPIs with finance professionals and controllers.
• Facilitate business requirements gathering discussions/ workshops.
• Supports the Business Partner in the qualification of the business request for assigned service(s).
• Create detailed user stories that is well understood both by clients and technical/development team. Create detailed functional specification document.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, technical teams, developers to ensure clear understanding and translation of business requirements.

Qualifications for the role:

• 4-8 years of strong experience in Finance and Controlling with hands on experience in SAP FICO module
• Graduate or equivalent degree in the relevant field.
• Expertise in Financial modelling and reporting
• Basic Knowledge of Sales & Distribution, Production planning, Projects, Material master modules in SAP
• Strong analytical skills
• Basic SQL knowledge is desirable.
• Proficiency in English language (written and spoken)
• Able to work on own initiative and as a team player. Good organizational skills with cultural awareness and sensitivity
