Essential skills and knowledge
- Develop and maintain enterprise level business architecture.
- Develop enterprise business architecture that bring about visibility of company’s different functions (supports and operations) and their cross-interactions highlighting enterprise streams in delivering value.
- Map how the key enterprise organizational elements, such as people, process, information, applications, and others, work together and relate to each other horizontally, vertically, or laterally to help identify areas of opportunities, develop roadmaps for evolution, and connect organization strategies with the operation of the business.
- Establish and maintain company’s process framework, model, and standards.
- Develop and maintain enterprise level value stream frameworks that cut across and connect siloed business capabilities capturing the essential aspects of the business operations and support entities.
- Develop business process model that represents simplified version of value generating activities of various business functions to assist in performance analysis, simulation, or theoretical exploration.
- Establish and capture enterprise process standards as reference to guide in developing effective and efficient processes that are consistently followed and improved and against which performance deviations can be measured.
- Ensure transparency of company’s end-to-end business processes.
- Work together with Business Process Analyst and business representatives to develop and maintain enterprise-wide business process model with clear ownership of functions and type of activity.
- Develop integration of business process models with enterprise architecture to arrive at global view of business functions and the associated technology and infrastructure enablers and provide business and IT with comprehensive understanding of current or proposed states and eliminate potential inefficiencies or redundancies.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
- Develop and implement strategy, plan, and initiatives to identify opportunities for process simplification and streamline process interactions across the business.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business to understand workflow challenges and pain points and eliminate bottlenecks.
- Design and implement performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of process improvement and continuously monitor and make adjustments as necessary.
- Develop maturity model to enhance business integration and simplification.
- Develop comprehensive maturity model including set of metrics of business integration and simplification, to give the management insights of the current performance and direction of future improvement.
- Continuously explore leading practices of the Oil and Gas industry processes and standards, and perform benchmark exercise against current enterprise business architecture, model, and processes to understand the gaps and propose set of improvement actions.
Essential skills and knowledge
- Bachelor's Degree preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience.
- Experience in upstream oil & gas sector is a preference.
- 15+ years’ hands on experience and proficiency in leading or managing delivery in SAP Business Process Management and Governance, ARIS tool or SAP Signavio (process manager, process intelligence, process insights, process governance, process explorer) or other equivalent Business Process Management tool, understanding of working principles of SAP Business Processes modules and components, SAP Cloud architecture and solutions, as well as ERP / Agile implementation methodology.
- Some experience in programming or scripting (ideally in Python/JavaScript/Java or SQL).
- Solid understanding of process management concepts, Business Process Management technology, and familiarity with process modeling standards, ideally BPMN 2.0
- Working knowledge of process mining, change management process and business process mapping.
- Competency on various SAP modules and related data objects.
- Strong business process analytic skills and knowledge of process improvement methodologies, Lean six sigma knowledge.
- Experience and knowledge about SAP S4/HANA.
- Communication and leadership skills to manage, coordinate people, and conduct meetings.
- Fluent English both spoken and written.
- Ability to communicate across all levels of the organization and work with diverse project teams.
- Ability to solve complex problems with systematic and structured approach.
- Demonstrated teamwork, self-management, and multi-tasking abilities.
- Demonstrated a strong work ethic and willing to take the lead on his/her own initiative, meet deadlines, and produce consistent high-quality work.
