Job Description:

bp's customers & products (C&P) business area is setting up a business and technology centre (BTC) in Budapest, Hungary. This will support the delivery of an enhanced customer experience and drive innovation by building global capabilities at scale, demonstrating technology, and developing deep expertise. Aviation is a global business operating in 55 countries within 4 global regions, safely providing fuel to over 200 operated sites and over 200 NOJVs. Our frontline operations can vary from a team of ~60 at a major airport through to a team of 2 at a general aviation site and can be located in major cities through to very remote locations globally.

Customer Excellence Team Leader

In this role You will:

  • Identify and drive continuous improvement to enable improvements in customer experience and Aviation efficiency.
  • Drives front office pre-sale customer activities, including bulk ordering and specific account support etc.
  • Drives post sales activities, including tax and fee administration, supporting dispute management, transaction error handling etc.
  • Support Region and Global project implementation through providing process and systems input.
  • Act as an SME for complex deals to support margin growth with agreed customers.
  • Drive corrections and improvements in pricing administration to support an effective order to cash process.
  • Provide input, support and challenge to projects which require pricing expertise.
  • Establish team important metrics to monitor all customer's queries resolution and responsiveness levels are met accordingly.

What You will need to be successful:

  • Fluency in English is required
  • Bachelor degree and / or equivalent experience with a successful track record in process excellence or similar supporting roles.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels.
  • Proven experience in analyzing and developing complex processes and an ability to successfully articulate these to the customer and internal colleagues.
  • Experienced knowledge in implementing complex processes into the business according to given strategy
  • Ability to demonstrate strong cross- cultural relationship building skills.
  • Track record of successfully implemented continuous process improvements.
  • Good knowledge of the aviation business, compliance and tax rules across countries is preferable.
  • Data and systems knowledge.
  • Commercial competence.
  • Understanding finance preferred.
  • Understanding agile methodology an advantage.
