Duties: Provides leadership and coordination of material to perform projects and daily maintenance work. Performs technician tasks including general maintenance at a high skilled level involved in the maintenance of equipment used for wastewater lift stations, including mechanical and electrical repair of pumps. Utilizes SCADA operations in monitoring and maintenance of wastewater systems. Assists in the coordination of projects between public works divisions, if necessary, in the completion of a project. May help resolve citizen complaints and service requires as assigned by the public works superintendent. May be subject to call out service after hours. May assist crews in other departments as needed. Assists in oversight of contract for operation of Golden Acres and Vince Bayou Treatment Plants. Must have and maintain, without interruption, all necessary licenses, certifications, clearances, and/or job requirements. Works the assigned schedule and complies with the City's timekeeping and attendance policy.

Qualifications: High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Seven years related experience and/or training; Or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in construction trades such as concrete work, pipe work, electrical and general labor. Experience in pump mechanics and electrical repair of pumps. Valid Texas driver's license and good driving record
