With tools like Tracker and eHawk™ Remote Support, we troubleshoot crane and lifting system issues remotely, minimizing downtime when every minute counts. We are also supporting our Service Engineers when they are on site, providing guidance and insight if they have a technical problem.

Your responsibilities:
This role blends leadership, technical expertise, and collaboration. You will:
- Act as the go-to technical expert NOV's crane products, supporting both customers, service engineers on site and other internal teams with your deep knowledge of NOV equipment and systems.
- Lead and develop a small team of Technical Advisors.
- Support our Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in delivering world-class support, 24/7.
- Provide direct technical support for crane systems, troubleshooting complex issues and working with Product Engineering to develop innovative solutions.
- Approve technical reports, damage assessments, and recommendations with a strong focus on precision and professionalism.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Sales, Rentals, and Workshop teams to streamline customer support and ensure smooth service delivery.
- Represent NOV as a trusted technical authority in customer meetings, offering solutions to reduce downtime and enhance operational success.
We are looking for someone with:
- Strong knowledge of offshore crane and lifting equipment, ideally NOV products, or similar technology. Familiarity with electrical / automation systems related to crane operations is a big plus.
- Offshore experience is preferred
- An interest in leadership. While formal management experience isn't required, experience as a project or site manager will be an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills in Norwegian and English to build close relationships with both customers and your team.
