JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities, including lead generation, understanding customer needs, and effectively managing the sales process to convert leads into orders.
  • Build and maintain strong business relationships with customers, understand their buying patterns, and maximize revenue potential through proactive support and engagement.
  • Provide sales leadership throughout the bidding phase by collaborating with Proposals and Applications support teams to secure successful outcomes.
  • Stay informed of existing competitive technology, market pressures, and industry trends to identify opportunities for product development and ensure NOV remains at the forefront of the market.
  • Align NOV's regional strategy with the current and future business strategies of existing and new customers.
  • Create, distribute, and maintain accurate monthly/quarterly sales and activity plans to key stakeholders within the business.
  • Manage the sales pipeline effectively to ensure accurate revenue forecasting (CRM).
  • Provide regular market intelligence and forecast information to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Meet regional sales revenue forecasts, KPIs, and sales metrics.
  • Monitor and address customer issues, feedback, deadlines, and deliverables promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure proposals meet technical requirements and maintain communication and follow-up throughout the proposal process.
  • Collaborate effectively with other NOV groups within the EPS Group.
  • Engage with customers through various communication methods, including face-to-face meetings, to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Conduct customer visits, provide client office-based support, and travel as required within the region.
  • Build customer profiles, identifying key decision-makers and buyers.
  • Contribute to the preparation of the Annual Sales Plan (ASP).
  • Oversee and manage any commercial changes to an order and communicate these changes to the customer.


Support other departments and perform additional duties as required by the line manager.
