Primary Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints, and schematics for electrical, mechanical, or hydraulic pneumatic components.
- Assemble and install components using hand tools, power tools, and machinery, ensuring secure placement.
- Install and test finished assemblies or subassemblies for functionality and continuity.
- Prioritize work based on production schedules and perform system startups and functional tests.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and make necessary corrections to systems.
- Ensure compliance with NOV Company and HSE procedures and policies.
- Move materials and reports to the next stage and follow supervisor instructions.
- Produce items per drawings and work orders, inspect and clean components, and ensure cleanliness throughout assembly.
- Use hand, hydraulic, and power tools for drilling, tapping, and attaching components.
- Inspect and test parts for fit and performance, ensuring compliance and proper installation.
- Record inspection results and update work order status in ERP.
Qualifications and Competencies:
- ITI/NCTVT with 5 years or Diploma with 2 years of relevant experience, particularly in Assembly and Pressure Testing in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Proficient in English with effective communication skills and basic computer skills.
- Capable of assembling and testing mechanical or hydraulic pneumatic components.
- Ability to operate auto/semi-auto testing units and machinery like overhead cranes and forklifts.
- Flexible with shifts and work schedules, demonstrating punctuality, good behavior, and adherence to safety instructions as per company HSE policy.
