JOB DESCRIPTION

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with Engineering and Drafting to generate timely Bill of Materials and Routings for products
• Work with Engineering and Product Development to create and revise product BOM's, Work Definitions (Routings), and Labor Standards to maintain accuracy
• Define and optimize the routing structure for products including the sequence of operations required for assembly, testing, and quality control.
• Monitor and perform labor and material studies and audits to ensure accurate BOM's, Work Definitions, and Labor Standards
• Prepare status, cost analysis, and performance reports from the ERP system as required by Management
• Maintain files in an organized manner
• Wear appropriate PPE when in required areas
• Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines and procedures
• Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines and procedures
• Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Thorough knowledge of product, manufacturing processes, and principals
• Excellent knowledge of production planning, quality control, and costing principals
• Experience in MRP (Manufacturing Resource Planning) preferred
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or control; talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Travel less than 10%

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 2-5 years' experience in process workflow or formal training in Bill of Material/Routing creation preferred
• Experience in ERP systems like OMEGA or Oracle preferred
