About the role

The post holder will be partly responsible for both the day-to-day and technical supervision of a team of Plumbers and Gas Safe Plumbers. The role involves supervising work to ensure that the standards of the Gas Safety (installation and use) Regulations 1998, the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999 and L8 'The control of legionella bacteria in water systems' are all adhered to.

Our ideal candidate for this role is someone who:
  • Has demonstrable experience in a Plumbing and Gas background in either Public or Private Sector
  • Has knowledge of plumbing systems including drainage and water hygiene
  • Has knowledge of gas appliances and heating systems
  • Can manage and motivate staff at all levels
