Overall Purpose of the Job

Works within the Workshop environment carrying out maintenance, diagnosis and repairs to a range of equipment. Undertakes the preparation of equipment to Company standards

Key Activities and Accountabilities

• Undertake the preventative & predictive maintenance including diagnoses and repair of equipment to Company quality & certification standards.
• Assist with rigging up, bulding & riggin down of equipment
• Undertake required inspection of equipment, preparing documentaiton to ensure cmplaince with Company policy & procedures
• Update job packs & return to Foreman/Supervisor at the end of each work period
• Liaise with internal department to ensure all required components and movement of items are completed in line with operational requirements
• Participate in meetings/toolbox talks
• Undertake direction, basic job training & supervision with Technicians when required
• Adhere to and ensure compliance with quality policies, processes & systems identifying/reporting any deficiencies to Supervisor
• May be required to drive a forklift for movement, loading & unloading of equipment (provided current driving qualification held)

Job Knowledge and Qualifications

• Technical Qualification
• Previous work experience (preferably in a related product line)
• Forklift licence would be an advantage but training will be provided
