Job Description: Provides directs supervision of all field personnel and construction projects and handles field problem solving and project decision-making activities as needed. Assists in project management as required. Coordinate the activities of a variety of tradespeople, professionals and laborers. Work closely with the customers or engineers who designed the project and local officials on permits needed for the project.

What You'll Do:

55%: Provides direct supervision of all field personnel and construction projects and handles field problem solving and project decision-making activities as needed. Selects, orients, directs, motivates, trains and retains staff capable of meeting current and projected human resources needs; makes recommendations and/or decisions on variouspersonnel matters such as salaries, performance reviews and terminations.

20%: Assists in project management as required. Conducts thorough pre-job reviews of all construction projects with project installers and project managers.

10%: Monitors expenses to ensure that they are meeting budget and if not, determine whether it is possible to make up the difference. Coordinates with Project Managers to manager material and labor costs. Work with Distribution and Project Managers on supplies and materials to guard against loss and to ensure that vital materials are ordered and delivered to meet schedule.

10%: Assists in the development of safety policies and guidelines and monitors and directs field personnel's adherence to Company safety standards as well as continually improving construction procedures to maximize efficiency, speed and safety.

5%: Other duties as assigned.

Working Hazards: Works in a seated position for extended periods of time. Occasionally works in an environment with potential exposure to fumes, dirt, noise, equipment movement dangers, vibrations, dangerous chemical/solvents, electrical shock, and inclement temperature

Physical/Mental Exertion: Ability to perform heavy physical labor exerting up to 100 pounds of force on an occasional basis and up to 50 pounds of force on a frequent basis performing such tasks as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping and fingering.

What We're Looking For:

Education: Requires High School diploma or equivalent. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, Environmental Science or related fields are preferred.

Experience: 4 years of construction site leadership experience required

Licenses/Certifications: HAZWOPER 40 certification, Driver's license, State-issued UST installer license preferred, all required upon hire.

Technical Abilities: Strong organizational and communications skills, including ability to negotiate. Good mathematical and record keeping skills. Ability to identify parts and equipment unique to petroleum tanks and underground storage tank industry. Ability to coordinate and review the work of others. Basic computer skills. Demonstrated skill in project planning and management.

Autonomy/Direction: Takes performance expectations from senior leaders and directs the work of others to meet expectations. Works with little to no supervision and is required to demonstrate high-level decision-making including personnel decisions.

Tools and Equipment: Ability to perform manual construction work and equipment operation as described. Knowledge and experience with computer programs (Procore, Outlook).
