IT Director for HoneywellInternational, Inc. (Charlotte, NC)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Understand key IT and Business priorities, strategic and tactical initiatives to identify and develop effective and timely analytic solutions.
Collaborate with IT Service Owners and Business Partners to understand metrics that matter and underlying data sources.
Facilitate operational excellence by leveraging analytics and AIOps to shift from reactive to proactive.
Develop dashboards and visualizations that improves service/business intelligence, drives actionable insights the leads to data-drive decisions.
Initiate and streamline workflows and alerting that improves service availability.
Proactively mine data to identify trends and patterns, generate insights and discover hidden relationships.
Research and implement cutting-edge techniques and tools in machine learning/deep learning/artificial intelligence to make data analysis more efficient.
Build and grow a data-driven culture that uses data and analytics to make decisions and take actions.

ADDITIONALINFORMATION:
Job Site: Charlotte, NC
40 hours/week

YOU MUST HAVE:
Qualifiedapplicants must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in ComputerInformation Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related fieldand seven (7) years of progressive experience operating, managing or monitoringIT infrastructure and services. Must possess five (5) years of experience inthe following: managing and visualizing data to drive operational efficiencies;building dashboards that simplifies data so that it is easy understand andcomprehend; developing analytical visualization and presenting orally to ITleadership; delivering on complex situations or problems without guidance orsupervision; data analytical skills. Must possess Splunk Expertise, includingcertifications as a Splunk Certified Architect and Splunk Certified EnterpriseSecurity admin. Up to 5% travel required. Telecommuting permitted up to two (2)times per week.
