Job Summary:

We are looking for a passionate, fully hands-on Full-Stack Developer to work with our Pervasive Sensing team. This person will work independently and as a part of a team to develop user interface and web applications built for a variety of platforms (VMs, small Linux computers, cloud). This position includes design and architecture of software features, working with designers and product managers to understand the features, and implementation of both the client-side (front-end) and server-side (back-end).

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Implement features within our application in collaboration with the team and customers
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current tools and techniques
• Contribute to the overall quality of the organization in the development of all applications
• Ensuring high performance on a variety of platforms - both on-prem and cloud
• Creating self-contained, reusable and testable modules and components

For this Role, You Will Need:

• Minimum of 7 years of proven experience in building and shipping professional software
• Deep understanding of the complexities in writing web applications for both on-prem and cloud deployment.
• Front-End experience with Web-Components, Angular, React web-framework, bootstrap, HTML5, Sass etc..
• Back-end experience with NodeJS web service frameworks and RESTful resource implementation. C#, Golang and Python knowledge desirable.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks - Chai, Jest and Mocha.
• Experience with Docker, Databases (SQLite, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis), Web Application Security and setting up CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Revision Control Systems
• Proficiency with both adaptive and responsive designs
• Proficiency in working with Linux systems and Microsoft's Azure cloud platform
• Ability to work in a complex team structure, including distributed teams
• Strong communication skills
• A passion for developing products with the best user experience

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Familiarity with agile techniques
