We are currently seeking a Welding Engineer to join our team based in Barcelona, Spain.

As a welding engineer, your daily tasks will be:
- Review, clarification, and validation of documentation from different manufacturers regarding Welding Books, Heat Treatment procedures, Non-Destructive Testing procedures, Pressure and/or Leak Testing procedures for equipment, and other related matters.
- Technical support to discipline leaders during the bidding phase concerning Technical Dossier verification and Contractual Requirements applicable to the welding and NDE area.
- Support to Discipline Leaders in the development of Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) for Piping Materials and Equipment.
- Technical support to discipline leaders during the engineering development of various projects.
- Technical support for Quality Control Surveillance (QCS) on issues related to welding and NDE (Activation and Inspection).
- Occasional presence at PIM and/or meetings at suppliers', manufacturers', and/or clients' workshops according to project requirements (Availability for occasional travel).
About you:

- At least 2 years of experience in industrial project engineering.
- Extensive knowledge of welding metallurgy, as well as different processes (SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, GSFCAW, SAW) and applicable Quality Assurance procedures.
- Experience in welding and inspection of pressure vessels, rotating equipment, and valves, both at the workshop level and from the office.
