This role is onsite in Basra, Iraq with Travel Requirement.

Key Objectives
- Conduct tenders and negotiate contracts in compliance with established local Procurement processes and procedures, and applicable local laws and regulations.
- Administer a portfolio of contracts (post award) including amendment execution, issue resolution with suppliers, maintenance of contract details in Maximo (ERP System) and proper monitoring of expiring contracts.
- Interact with business lines to clarify requirements, agree on procurement strategy, and address queries and issues.
- Ensure proper documentation and approvals are in place as per agreed processes and procedures in order to support cost recovery activities.
- Develop relationship with all stakeholders involved in the Procurement process (i.e., suppliers, business lines, client counterparts, project partners and support functions such as Law, Tax, Controllers and Treasurers).
- Negotiate standard contract terms and conditions.

Expected:
- Bachelor's or Master's Education in Business or Science
- 20 + year experience in contracting (O&G or Project Management sector preferred)
