This Position reports to:
Portfolio Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute local go-to-market product marketing strategy, including value propositions and product positioning.
- Define customer value propositions per segment and channel, ensuring clear communication to sales, channels, and users.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to create marketing plans, including communication, training, and sales initiatives.
- Lead market intelligence analysis to understand market segmentation, offering positioning, and relevant regulations.
- Support sales organization with product support and training, and create demand through technical promotion and value-based selling.
- Manage product life cycle at the local level, escalate technical issues, and develop product business cases based on market requirements and competitor analysis.
Qualifications:
- Electrical engineering degree or electronic college degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Variable Speed Drives (VSD).
- Knowledge of PLC and of the Canadian VSD/Automation market.
- Good factory automation and electrification best practice knowledge.
- Fieldbus communication and Functional safety knowledge an asset.
- Bilingualism, written and spoken (French and English). French is required. English is also required to communicate with customers outside Quebec on a regular basis.
- High customer focus, Teamwork oriented and demonstrated high level of initiative, problem solving, information gathering and eager to learn.
- Good sense of urgency and ownership.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite. Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform an asset.
