This position reports to
Hub Division Controller, IAEN, IMEA
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible to establish, develop and improve the relationships with the Senior management. Develop, implement and manage the account strategy, focused on share of wallet growth, profitability, customer satisfaction and ICV score improvement. Identify new opportunities and strategic projects, protect and expand the ABB installed base. Working in full coordination with the sales and op-eration team, in order to monitor the active projects and manage resolution of specific customer prob-lems. The work model for this role (onsite) This role is contributing to Process Automation Business Area based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. You will be mainly accountable for: • Understanding the key business drivers, including significant and emerging business risks (e.g. Sustainability / Digital / Cyber Security) of the relevant customer's business and business environment and interpreting the impact and opportunity for ABB. • Participating in the development of sales strategies for the account by providing the customer's current business and long-term plans. • Participating in the development and implementation of the account plan and SoW growth actions. • Driving In Country Value (ICV) actions to improve ICV score. • Establishing and developing account relationships based on a defined strategy. • Acting as focal point for problem resolution and monitors customer claims. Planning, facilitating and conducting customer negotiations. • Developing, maintaining and sharing detailed knowledge of the customer's business strategy, purchasing behavior, organization, decision-makers, customer business drives, economic trends and competition. • Creating added value for the customer and ABB by ensuring a coordinated sales approach (e.g. frame agreements, AVL related actions). • Monitoring competitors' activity with the account and ensuring that appropriate response strategies are formulated and implemented. • Giving input on market price developments • Driving application of standardized Marketing & Sales processes and tools (Salesforce, account plans, AVLs etc.) for the account

Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- 5 to 7 years' experience in account management for oil and gas sector.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Client relationship building
- Strategic and analytical thinking
