Job Profile - Field Service Engr II

Description

• Engineer should have minimum5-8 years of experience working on DCS/PLC/Scada system
• Engineer is expected tocarry out preventive maintenance / corrective / emergency maintenance visits atcustomer sites on DCS/PLC/SCADA systems
• Preventive Maintenance-Backup, Modification, Report Submission, Supervision of system Cleaning ofexisting running system.
• Corrective Maintenance- Restoring the system from any faults in the system
• Shutdown Maintenance
• Possess fluent oral& written communications skills
• PC troubleshooting andNetworking
• Documentation - 40 %documentation is involved
• Knowledge of DCS andPLC with a hands-on experience.
• Matured skills inindependent troubleshooting / problem resolution on these platforms.
• Understand customerneeds & extend Service Support at site / remote for prompt issue closureensuring adherence to Honeywell Process and Quality matrices.
• Build, Develop &Sustain Customer relationships with effective Customer management.
• Should be able to plansite visits as per agreed SLAs with customer.
• Required travel 70% to 80%of the time anywhere in Maharashtra
• Be available 24x7 forsupport during exigencies.
• Candidate will have tokeep himself technically updated by completing the assigned trainings.
• The candidate will needto Build, Develop & Sustain Customer relationships with effective Customermanagement.
• The job will involveExecuting Service projects and migrations and will demand long stay at customersites.
• Execute Serviceprojects and migrations
• Identify prospects,conduct pre-sales site assessment, and develop them into firm leads.
• Constantly probeopportunities for migrations, add-ons & work seamlessly with customers toreduce their pain areas by pitching-in the right solution
• ISO, HSE, commercialguidelines and all Honeywell Process compliance is must.
• Be a single pointcontact for all customer needs for designated customers.
• Added advantage ifknowledge of Honeywell System
• Must be willing toserve and be deputed as Site Support Specialist (Resident support Engineer) 24x7,365 days.
• Ready to work on ONGCPlatforms (Offshore) for upto 45 Days per visit on rotation basis
• Ready to work on otherwestern region sites (Maharashtra, MP etc) as a 'Service Engineer' whennot as Site Support Specialist (Resident Support Engineer).
• Office Process shouldbe followed timely and accurately.
• Politeness and goodcommunication skills are required during interactions.
• Leave process andfrequency should be followed as per the standard regional process.
