Production Basis, within Manufacturing - Nacelle Production Engineering, is responsible for launching new products into our manufacturing area, covering nacelles, generator, powertrain, electrical, hub and ext. manufacturing.
Our team is working very closely in the area between design and production, ensuring production basis documentation is created and delivered for safe launch of new products, by being early engaged in the design with requirements and providing early inputs for design for Assembly (DfA). Furthermore, we are also ensuring that production base documentation (PFMEA, PWI, Control Plan, PII, etc. documents) is created and introduced in a safe, high quality way to the factories to ensure our continuous ability to operate.
The department is primarily focusing on manufacturing process development activities in Lindø (Denmark) but is interfacing in a global environment having production facilities across the globe, where support can be needed.

Responsibilities
Your tasks as a specialist will vary in complexity and nature but will keep focus on the below items:
  • Subject matter expert in nacelle and hub electrical (incl. control hardware) NPI projects delivering tasks and activities at the agreed time, including participation in Nacelle and Hub Prototype activities
  • Contribute to the development of new nacelle and hub types giving input to the designers
  • Development of production setup and documentation including process flow, component allocation layout, and work instructions
  • Engage in PFMEA activities
  • Specify special tooling and test equipment needed for production of the product
  • Technology transfer to other sites
  • Support the serial production regarding non-conformity, technical questions, automation and maturing the assembly process


Qualifications
  • An engineering degree preferable within electrical field or other relevant education, combined with some years relevant experience within either design, production, or other relevant areas
  • A good broad technical foundation, and the ability to pick up new knowledge fast
  • A good understanding of complex organizational setups, to efficiently communicate with your colleagues and relevant stakeholders
  • We prefer experience within other large corporate organizations

  • Good communication skills and are fluent in English (speaking and writing) Danish and German language skills are welcomed but are not required. We are a multi-cultural and global company, and international applicants are very welcome
