As a Business Manager you will develop an Energy Management System (EMS) strategy and proposition for iChoosr.
To create a seamless and intelligent energy experience that helps households optimize their energy usage while enabling us to efficiently offer our products. We can help consumers to create the optimal balance between energy usage, -storage, -production, buy and sell. EMS will play an essential role in this. We do not have the ambition to create our own EMS but need to work together with best of breed partners to enrich our service, proposition and data.

Your responsibilities
- Become 'the go-to person for everything EMS related within iChoosr
- Define & develop the EMS proposition, ensuring it aligns with iChoosr's vision and market and consumer needs.
- Monitor the trends in the EMS market and anticipate accordingly.
- Engage with and develop relationships with potential EMS partners.
- Engage with (technology) partners to explore integration possibilities and innovative solutions.
- Identify and validate opportunities to enhance customer engagement and build long-term relationships with different stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the international iChoosr country teams (country managers, installer managers) and the supporting teams (marketing and product).
- Launch and introduce the EMS proposition in our active countries.
- Ensure scalability of the EMS proposition across different markets/countries .
Your expertise
- Experience in business development in energy, tech, or related industries.
- A strong understanding of energy management systems, smart home technology, or demand-side response.
- You are able to build strategic relationships.
- An analytical mindset, able to translate data and trends into actionable strategies.
- A commercial drive, with a knack for identifying opportunities and shaping compelling propositions.
- Self-starter with a can-do mentality.
- Great collaboration skills, working cross-functionally and with external partners.
- Fluency in English.
