We are seeking a dedicated Cranes Technical Expert to support offshore vessels, focusing on fixed cranes. If you have expertise in maintenance planning, technical support, and supplier collaboration, we encourage you to apply and contribute your skills!

Function description

As a Cranes - Technical Specialist, you will provide expert support for our offshore vessels, with a focus on fixed cranes. Working closely with internal teams, you will ensure all technical systems and equipment meet the highest standards. Your responsibilities include preparing work orders, designing maintenance plans, and coordinating with external suppliers and service providers to enhance knowledge and optimize performance.

• Serve as a technical expert and support for internal stakeholders.
• Act as the primary point of contact (SPOC).
• Stay updated on the latest developments and innovations of our cranes.
• Set up standards for equipment maintenance and repairs to ensure cost-effectiveness and operational reliability.
• Ensure all technical work preparations prioritize safety and efficiency.

Requirements

• A degree in mechanical would be great, relevant experience in offshore cranes is an even more plus
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a mechanical environment preferably in cranes.
• Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive and solution-oriented team player with excellent communication abilities.
• Willingness to travel as needed (up to 20%).
• Fluent in English (both spoken and written); additional languages such as German is a big plus.
