Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for an interface between Supply Chain and Engineering team. Integrates procurement knowledge (market, suppliers, external intelligence) into the development process to optimize productions costs, quality, and technology. Converts engineering requirements into procurement specifications for implementation. We are looking for candidates in Vasteras (Sweden) or Minden (Germany) or Ostrava (Czech Republic) or in a commuting distance. Your main responsibilities will be: • Sourcing Strategy and Negotiations: Coordinates sourcing activities for Research and Development (R&D) projects. Conduct thorough evaluations of supplier capabilities, quality, and reliability. Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure the best possible agreements • Proficiency: Work closely with R&D, Category Management, and other cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies with project goals. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and timelines • Collaboration: Work with Category Managers and Operations teams to develop the best value chain for the new products. Work to minimize the prototype and out-turn sample delivery time to reduce overall project timeline. • Onboard Suppliers: Facilitate the on-boarding process for new suppliers, ensuring smooth integration into the company's supply chain. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. • Communication: Promote clear and effective communication internally and externally, supporting the implementation of sourcing activities and initiatives.

Qualifications for the role

• Educational Background: You hold a master's degree either in Electronics Engineering or Supply Management.
• Experience: With over 10 years of experience in a similar field, you bring a wealth of knowledge and valuable contributions.
• Skills: Your skills include sourcing and supply chain management, negotiation, flexibility, and the ability to work effectively in a global environment. Effective communication skills play a critical role.
• Industry Knowledge: Experience in the electronics manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English is necessary, with a good command of Italian seen as beneficial.
