We are currently seeking a Heaters and Boilers Engineer, reporting directly to H&B Section Head to join our Engineering team based in Rome, Italy.

About the opportunity we offer:
The candidate will be involved in the management of Firing Heaters, Boilers and Firing Equipment Packages on Proposals, FEED (Front End Engineering Design) and EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) Projects.
Heaters & Boiler Sections is mainly involved in preliminary design and sizing of combustion equipment, writing of specification for design and supply the above-mentioned equipment, following up the involved vendors, giving comments for safety of the combustion equipment, minimizing their environmental impacts, participating to constructability analysis, etc.
Key interactions of the Heaters & Boilers Engineer are internally with Project teams, Procurement dept., Proposal dept., Construction dept. and others engineering disciplines; externally candidate will interface with Clients, Vendors, Suppliers.
The role and your responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
• Ensure timely and qualitative preparation of project technical specifications in coordination with other disciplines;
• Preparation of material requisition for inquiry;
• Technical analysis of received bids;
• Preparation of material requisition for purchase;
• Managing of detailed engineering phase and technical follow up of the orders and of Vendor documentation ensuring proper communication with vendors
• Communications and interfaces with other project design and engineering disciplines, providing support to the other engineering sections to develop detail engineering.
• Adhere to the committed man / hours and budget;
• ensure timely reporting on engineering / requisitioning activities to the Lead Discipline Engineer and to the Section Head.;
• Meet quality and HSE objectives of the project;
• Interface with project support functions such as procurement and planning.
• Travels to vendor workshops, sites or to other Operating Center of T. EN Group, if required for meetings, survey or coordination tasks.
You will have the opportunity to do business trips to attend to technical meetings with Clients or Suppliers, visit Vendor workshop, move to other Technip Energies operating centers and join our colleagues overseas. Occasionally you will also have the opportunity to follow up engineering activities related to equipment directly on our sites, supporting erection, pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up activities.

Qualifications: Master-Degree in Chemical Engineering, or Energetic Engineering
Languages: English fluent
Main Skills:
• Attitude to perform the work in team, in an international and multi-cultural environment
• Capability to complete tasks on time with the required Company quality level
• Open-mind with respect to new energy sources and digital solutions
• Communication skills and team spirit
• Availability to international mobility for either short or long term assignment
• Knowledge of new energy sources, renewables, green/blue hydrogen technologies as well as new digital tools and solutions will be appreciated
• It is a plus any of the following:
o Previous experience in combustion equipment in similar role.
o Knowledge of main international codes for Combustion Equipment design (API 560, API 530, etc.)
o Knowledge of main international codes for mechanical design of combustion equipment (ASME BPV Section I, ASME Section VIII, etc.
o Previous experience with Fired heaters simulation tool FRNC-5
o Previous experience with Flares simulation tool FLARESIM
