Our Senior Project Managers at Centrica Business Solutions are responsible for all aspects of project planning, procurement and execution with a high level of focus on customer service, safety, risk management, quality profitability and cash-flow. This position will actively work with peers and functional leadership to develop and continuously improve processes and procedures aimed at providing value to customers. Additionally, the Senior Solar Project Manager will provide leadership, coaching and mentoring to less experienced team members.

Open to flexible work schedules working fully remote or hybrid but must to able to travel up to 50% of the time. Ideally looking for someone in the locations:

• Texas (San Antonio, Houston, Austin, or Dallas)
• Chicago, IL
• Remote with hub airport access for travel to IL, TX, FL, and the central United States

Our Project Managers contributions to the team include:

Project Development

• Collaborating with development teams to create cost budgets and approve scopes of work for projects being developed.
• Supporting Sales and Development teams with Project Proposals as needed.

Project Delivery

• Managing multiple projects concurrently, including Centrica's challenging and most complex projects
• Following quality management plan or procedures and supplement with site specific quality assurance/quality control procedures as needed.
• Managing contracting process with subcontractors to ensure scope, bill of materials, schedules, etc. will meet project requirements. Engaging with management and Legal team if deviating from Centrica contract template.
• Procuring all material and equipment in line with or below project budget, and ensure material and equipment is delivered in a timely manner to make effective use of the labor force and meet project schedules.
• Continually working to enhance customer relationships to ensure highest possible customer satisfaction at project completion, and encourage participation in NPS survey.

Operational Excellence

• Identifying, developing and implementing continuous improvement plans for the project management process.
• Identifying gaps and propose procedures and improvements to Centrica's Quality Management Plan
• Mentoring Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers on best practices and techniques for managing project budgets.

The core components of success are (i.e. must haves):

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least 10 years of demonstrated success in Project Management in the construction industry of projects in excess of $5MM
• At least 10 years of experience managing commercial solar projects
• Previous experience with Energy Performance Contracting (EPC) project management - Required.
• Past experience and an up-to-date knowledge of best practices as they relate to solar, energy storage, Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) and/or energy efficiency projects.
• Active Driver's License

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or Business
• Experience in MEP project management and/or performance contracting (highly preferred)
• Experience working with local vendors and subcontractors (highly preferred)
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
• Journeyman electrician or electrical contractor's license
• NABCEP certification

The travel required for this position is approximately up to 50% of the time and will be mostly regional.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $115,000-130,000 + bonus + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
