The Team - your impact

The chapter Technology & Engineering - Platform Engineering represents all experts who deliver DevOps capabilities to all our product teams. These experts are organized together to enhance those functional skillsets, improve E.ON's DevOps tech stack and deliver a high level of cloud automation.

You are part of IQ Energy, a team that provides a cloud-based custom-built MES/ERP system. Theses systems control customer-located industrial power plants.

Your Role - meaningful & rewarding

• Build, maintain and continuously improve the AWS and CI/CD infrastructure needed to run our custom-built MES system
• Collaborate with the development team as well as the cybersecurity departments to refine and implement infrastructure needs
• Implement and monitor observability into the system and help with troubleshooting
• Adapt procedures to incorporate best practices and be compliant with KritisV
• Mentor junior engineers
• Stay on top of current trends in our platform ecosystems and the wider industry to adjust, improve and update the technical landscape

Your Profile - authentic & open-minded

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Experience in software development, DevOps and SRE practices
• Hands-on mentality and the ability to adapt to different tasks fast
• Knowledge of the Container & Kubernetes ecosystems as well as the AWS platform
• Familiarity working in regulated environments. Having experience in a KritisV environment is a plus.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• fluent in English
