JOB DESCRIPTION

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist in tracking daily and weekly production schedules to ensure timely completion of orders.
  • Monitor Work-in-Progress (WIP) work orders and production progress to identify potential delays.
  • Maintain visibility on the status of WIP work orders, ensuring accurate documentation of production progress.
  • Identify potential bottlenecks or delays and report findings to the Production Scheduler.
  • Make changes in the ERP system to in-progress work orders, including updates to routings, material substitutions, and outside processing requirements.
  • Adjust routing sequences to reflect process changes and ensure correct workflow execution.
  • Identify and track product nonconformances (e.g., defects, process deviations) throughout the production process.
  • Ensure nonconforming products are properly documented, segregated, and reworked or scrapped as needed.
  • Monitor production schedules to ensure on-time delivery per customer and internal deadlines.
  • Assist in preparing daily and weekly reports on production status, highlighting at-risk orders.
  • Act as a liaison between production, quality control, and material control teams to share production status updates.
  • Provide reports on production progress, potential challenges, and nonconformance trends to the Production Scheduler.
  • Support the scheduling team with administrative tasks and documentation.


Education & Qualifications

  • High School Graduate with related experience. Some college experience preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience with project/task management, inventory, manufacturing, or operations is preferred.
  • Experience with MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • Familiarity with ERP Systems
