Qualifications:
- Perform site Quantity Surveying activities.
- Administer Post-Subcontracts (Block-K) documents, including Major Fabrication Subcontracts Agreement and related exhibits.
Key Accountabilities:
Overall Job Purpose:
- Verify remeasurement quantities against IFC Drawings submitted by subcontractors.
- Manage change work, including reimbursable tasks and custom clearance document verifications.
- Prepare monthly cost forecasts based on WCR/MTO versus contractual values.
- Track SI / CR logs, estimate cost impacts, and notify PMT.
- Negotiate with subcontractors and assist with final account closeout.
- Reconcile material usage and ensure accuracy between free-issued and as-built quantities.
- Maintain project closeout documents in J-Drive or SharePoint.
Relationship Responsibilities:
- Report to the Lead QS and Head of Department.
- Coordinate closely with subcontractors and the construction team.
- Work with engineering, discipline leads, superintendents, and quality managers for updates.
Core Responsibilities:
- Understand subcontract agreements, including costs and remeasurement mechanisms.
- Analyze "Method of Measurement," Pricing Schedules, and Schedule of Rates (SOR).
- Utilize Excel tools (Pivot Tables, V-Lookup, etc.) for efficient calculations.
- Coordinate with construction, engineering, planning, and quality teams on progress updates.
- Maintain and track change work logs (SI-Log / COR, CO-Log) and report updates.
- Verify remeasurement quantities and ensure compliance with contract standards.
- Review cost-plus and reimbursable documents, identifying discrepancies.
- Assess Time & Material (T&M) works and verify subcontractor timesheets.
- Ensure material reconciliation aligns with as-built quantities.
- Support final account closure and store project data securely.
Financial & Operational Impact:
- No specific budget responsibilities.
- Work under general supervision, following established procedures.
Work Relationships:
- Reports to Lead QS and Head of Department.
- Regular coordination with subcontractors and the construction team.
- Collaboration with engineering and quality teams for project efficiency.
Job Challenges & Problem Solving:
- Strong teamwork and collaboration with internal teams and subcontractors.
- Ability to handle a fast-paced, high-volume work environment.
- Strong negotiation skills to resolve subcontractor disputes.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- A-Level / Diploma Graduate or a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Oil & Gas, or Marine-related fields.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Documentum, SharePoint, and AutoCAD.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in FPSO shipbuilding, shipyard, or Oil & Gas industries.
- Certifications (Preferred but not required):
- Microsoft Office / AutoCAD.
