We are looking for a Team Lead to join our Special projects team in the Vestas APAC region. If you would like to work in an international and innovative company aiming to be a top contender in the offshore wind market. We are looking for candidates with great leadership and organizational skills.

Vestas Offshore Special Projects, is part of the overall Offshore Service business in the APAC region you will Manage a team of Supervisors and Deputy site managers and work in close collaboration with our Site managers and Project Managers from the Special projects team and our service sites both On and offshore. Together you will ensure that global uniformed processes and procedures are implemented and adhered to Vestas standards. You will also ensure daily operations and ensure our projects are receiving the support required by your team, including management of external contractors.

Responsibilities
  • You will be assisting and manage hiring, onboarding, overseeing, training and developing of your team. Within the training period you will allocate qualified and motivated competencies to service sites according to the service deliverables and project requests.
  • Motivate your employees and secure work-life balance, whilst implementing various projects requirements and adhering to the mandatory technical training requirements according to the country specific regulations whilst maintaining budget control.
  • People management, e.g., conducting regular group meetings, 1:1 meetings and preparing individual development plans.
  • Ensure close partnership with Service sites, Special projects project management and service management to ensure fulfillment of project/service demands with correct competencies, experience and training.
  • Support with management-related tasks, including creating processes and procedures.
  • Ensure Health and Safety standards are always adhered to across the region.


Qualifications
  • Effective leadership skills, should be able to effectively motivate and coordinate a team, providing clear direction and delegate tasks.
  • Technical knowledge, should have a solid understanding of the technical and practical aspects of the team's work-Communication skills, should be able to communicate effectively with team members, management and other stakeholders (Internal and External)Project management experience, should be able to manage projects, set goals and meet deadlines.
  • Prior experience in a similar role overseeing a team in the same or a related industry.
