Job Title: Lead Account Manager - EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction)

Location: Canada (Edmonton, Calgary, Toronto)

Travel: 40-50 Percent, Domestic and International, Multi-Night Trips

Position Overview:

We are seeking a strong Lead Account Manager with experience in the Canadian Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Energy, Power and Mining markets. The ideal candidate will have an EPC background in, or experience with working with, EPC companies in a sales or technical role. The candidate will be expected to build long-term relationships with EPC customers, drive business growth, and bring the breath of Honeywell solutions to these customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Own the overall EPC relationship as the primary interface between Honeywell and EPC customer.
  • Lead all aspects of engagements with existing and new Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) customers.
  • Coach and instruct internal team to understand customer's organizational structure, key decision makers and reporting relationships, purchasing process, and degree of influence of individuals involved in the purchasing process
  • Formulate a pricing strategy based on the customer's expectations, competitive situation, potential differentiators, and other factors
  • Continuously identify opportunities and build credibility with EPC customers
  • Define sales and growth strategy with EPC customers while aligning with Corporate objectives.
  • Continuously develop a pipeline of projects with EPC accounts, to include line-of-sight of future opportunities
  • Educate and provide customer (EPC) intelligence to drive proposal strategy
  • Provide feedback for innovation, Voice of the Customer (VoC), capture market & industry trends, and competition intel and customer purchasing strategies
  • Actively participate in bids & proposal teams, including effective handover of relevant information
  • Ensure clients stay engaged and educated on products and services through workshops, lunch and learns, meetings, trade events and appropriate informal events

Must Have:
  • 10-15 years of related industry experience (EPC or Selling into EPC customers is preferred)
  • Proven Experience in New customer development, account management, and project-based selling
