Sr. HR Services Manager, Operations EMEA
We have an opportunity for a Sr. HR Services Manager, Operations EMEA to join our Honeywell team in Bucharest,RO.
The role is responsible for implementing and managing HR services on seeking to deliver superior services for Honeywell across the EMEA region. This role's key objectives include being an expert in vendor management, M&A, Transformation, the field of payroll (insourced and outsourced), Compliance, reporting and automation. The role will drive and lead HR services, including automation and digitization in processes in particular projects for efficiency and improved processing and net pay accuracy.
The role needs to flex between payroll compliance, operational oversight and project management and implementation. Frequent interactions with senior leaders, HR Business Partners, and members of the HR Service centers are expected. The Senior Manager will partner with the regional teams to identify opportunities to leverage best practices to manage and facilitate the EMEA delivery model to drive business results. Working with business and HR leaders, responsible to apply creativity and problem-solving techniques to implement critical payroll strategies and processes. This is hybrid work (3 days from the office + 2 days from home)!

Key Responsibilities:
- Mergers & Acquisitions: Lead and manage M&A activities, including due diligence, valuation, negotiation, and integration. Develop and execute M&A strategies to support the company's growth objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of acquired entities. Manage M&A activity and ensure that payroll applications are delivered and incorporated into local business processes
- Operations: Oversee operations to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee compensation both in region and virtual that would conclude accurate salary payments.
- Ensure compliance with all related regulations and laws that could affect employee payments
- Implement and maintain automation on inputs processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Keeps up to date with statutory, legislative, revenue impacts on the payments environment and communicate to the team
- Escalates unresolved issues as appropriate
- Transformation: Drive organizational transformation initiatives to enhance business performance and operational efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for change and develop strategies to implement transformational projects.
- Lead change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of new processes and systems.
- Process Improvement & Standardization: Identify and implement process improvement initiatives to streamline operations and reduce costs.
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) across the organization.
- Optimization of payment processes to reduce cycle time
- Drive permanent fixes to issues (lessons learned, no repetitive failures)
- Integrations: Manage the integration of new systems, processes, and technologies into the existing business framework.
- Ensure that integrations align with business objectives and enhance overall performance.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Develop and implement compliance programs and policies to mitigate risks.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure ongoing compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, HR or a related field;
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in M&A, HR Services, payroll, transformation, process improvement, integrations, compliance, and leading change or related experience.
- Experience leading outsource vendor models preferred.
- Knowledge of Information Protection and Data Privacy legislation for the region
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office and other HR systems or technologies (Oracle HCM a plus)
