In October, 2024 Honeywell announcedthe spin-off of our Advanced Materials business to become a stand-alonepublicly traded company, independent of Honeywell. Our intention is that thisrole, dedicated to the Advanced Materials business, will be a part of thisfuture transaction when the separation occurs.

Weare seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Application Engineer tojoin our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC&Rsystems, with a proven track record of developing and optimizing applicationsolutions for OEM customers. This role requires a blend of technical expertise,communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively withcross-functional teams to drive customer satisfaction and contribute to thegrowth of our refrigerant business.

KeyResponsibilities
-Serve as the primary technical contact for Japanese OEM customers in the HVAC&R sector.
-Understand customer needs and provide tailored application solutions to meet those needs effectively.
-Provide in-depth knowledge of low GWP refrigerants, HVAC&R products, technologies, and applications to support customers.
-Develop application guidelines, technical documentation, and best practices.
-Monitor industry trends, standards, and regulations to identify opportunities for innovation in HVAC&R applications.
-Conduct competitive analysis and contribute insights to marketing strategies to position products effectively.
-Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including engineers, designers, and decision-makers within customer organizations.
-Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to represent the company and foster business relationships.
Youmust have
-Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, or a related field; a graduate degree is a plus.
-Minimum of 10 years of experience in application engineering, preferably in the HVAC&R industry.
-Strong understanding of refrigerant, HVAC&R principles, systems, and components.
-Proven experience in customer engagement and technical sales support.
-Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
-Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in Japanese and English.
-Willingness to travel to customer sites and industry events as needed.

-Knowledge/experience on the design/development of thermal systems
-Strong understanding of thermodynamic cycles, refrigeration, and heat transfer
