Systems Integration Director

Your role within the team:

• Execute systems engineering processes to ensure successful project outcomes, including requirements management, interface management, validation and verification, configuration management, and progressive assurance.
• Lead teams responsible for the design, procurement, installation, integration, configuration, testing, and commissioning of LRT systems.
• Oversee the integration of various systems with civil structures, elevated guideways, stations, and existing rail systems.
• Manage multi-disciplinary internal engineering resources and ensure the successful delivery of design interface requirements.
• Effectively communicate expectations, track performance, and address technical challenges with engineering teams and subcontractors.
• Ensure all systems comply with federal/provincial/ municipal regulations and industry standards, and prioritize safety and environmental considerations.

The ideal candidate:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation in Canada.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in managing systems integration for major rapid rail transit projects.
• Understanding of trackwork systems, signaling, automatic train controls, communication systems, and propulsion power supply systems.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and unforeseen challenges.
• In-depth understanding of contract law and regulatory requirements related to infrastructure projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in contract drafting and compliance with legal requirements.
