JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB SUMMARY:

Service specialist Responsible to perform: Maintenance, repairs, test and commissioning for WL equipment, considering NOV quality policy "Do things safely, right first time, on time, every time ". Functionally reporting to Mechanical unit's team leader.

RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILTY & AUTHORITY:

-Ability to perform maintenance, repairs, tests and commissioning at NOV shop or as customer site as needed.

-Ability to handle many tasks at a time specially with workload spikes.

-Record all maintenance events / history in the shared folder for future tracking. Update data on daily basis and check actual status.

- Writing service reports about completed jobs.

- Participation in writing technical operational and service documentation (descriptions, manuals, spare parts lists).

- Ability to get required technical information (Drawings Documentation part numbers) from engineering portal.

-Cover for Mechanical Team leader when he is on vacation.

-Follow up on fast moving spare parts & Consumables. Order as needed and maintain safety stock.

-Maintain high standards of housekeeping within the workshop at all times.

- Good knowledge of WL equipment (hydraulic\mechanical and other systems) for availability provides remote troubleshooting and technical support.

- participation in improvement activities of operational process and technical activities touching WL equipment.

- Positively response to business decisions by line management, which deems to be in the interest of the company and aftermarket operations.

-Engage in any other activities requested by the PL operations manager.

-Conduct technical training.

-Availability in emergency situations that requires NOV aftermarket support to our customers.

BEHAVIORAL SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:

-Good Remote Troubleshooting skills to help customers in the field.

-Understanding of engineering documents and drawings.

-Speaking Talking to others to convey information effectively.

-Able to apportion time effectively to complete tasks (Time Management).

-Confident and professional when representing the company in person (Written & Verbal communications) with customers.

-Able to work beyond working hours as required by operations.

-Tasks management and follow up skills.

-Valid driving license in KSA to drive to customer sites visit on going work at supplier facility as required.

- Professional communication and respect with the team and all employees.

- Ability to handle customer frustration.

Qualifications: (Education/No. of Years of Experience):

-Technical diploma

-At least 15 years' experience in mechanical unit's repair maintenance fleet management people management.

-Leadership and supervisory skills,

-English is a must
