JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking highly skilled BIM SME to provide technical expertise, guidance, and support in detailed design, front-end engineering design (FEED), and engineering design within the oil and gas industry. The ideal candidates must have extensive experience working with Saudi Aramco projects and demonstrate a strong understanding of industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create and develop BIM content, using Revit, including but not limited to: Project development, parametric family creation, Project and Global parameter manipulation
• Consult with engineering staff for model and drawing development and coordination strategies
• Produce BIM-related marketing materials, including but not limited to: renderings and conceptual model
• Engage in research on BIM related subjects to keep the team up to date and informed on software advancements.
• Seek to improve workflow and quality of models and documents.

• Management of software
• Lead and support the development of engineering design, FEED, and detailed design in compliance with Saudi Aramco standards.
• Review and approve technical deliverables, ensuring adherence to industry codes, company specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Support design optimization and troubleshooting activities to enhance project efficiency and safety.
• Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams, including project managers, engineers, and clients, to ensure project success.
• Conduct technical reviews, risk assessments, and feasibility studies as required.
• Participate in design reviews and constructability assessments.
• Provide mentorship and technical support to junior engineers and project teams.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco engineering standards, procedures, and guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in architectural engineering
• Minimum 15-20 years of experience in Residential/Commercial/Industrial Buildings Design
• At least 5 years of experience in a BIM/Revit Subject Matter Expert (SME) role.
• Extensive experience in FEED, detailed design, or engineering design within the oil and gas sector.
• Mandatory experience with Saudi Aramco projects, including knowledge of Aramco engineering standards and specifications.
• Strong technical knowledge of international codes and standards relevant to the discipline (IBC, SBC, IFC)
• Experience working in EPC or engineering consultancy firms handling oil & gas projects.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to provide technical solutions for complex engineering challenges.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to guide project teams effectively.
