Job Summary

Manage the relationships with key EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Service) suppliers and manage electrical System integration components category, including 3rd party Electrical hardware and accessories. Support Electrical System assembly sites - Integration Centers - by owning key supplier relationships, act as escalation point.

Handle and lead strategic supplier relationships and performance improvements, develop, negotiate, and implement regional supplier contracts

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • A single point of contact and ownership of EMS and electrical hardware and accessories supplier relationship and production attainment. Run and create cost reduction projects and targets at our key EMS suppliers in Asia and Europe.
  • Work collaboratively to support Integration Center supply chain and operational teams to ensure access to best cost material and optimized supply chain setup within assigned categories. Continually develop and implement Supply Chain strategies to exceed Supply Management business objectives relating to, but not restricted to, cost, delivery performance and quality.
  • Support supplier consolidation initiatives through the identification of "best cost" suppliers in best cost countries and the migration of spend to such suppliers. Leverage the supplier development process, from identification of secondary sources, through process capability audits and product qualification. Report on key performance measures, take appropriate action and resolve when performance is below established targets.
  • Lead Quarterly Business Reviews with Key suppliers, establishing performance metrics/reporting (cost, delivery, lead-time, quality) to drive continuous improvement
  • Ensure new product introduction occurs in a timely manner and meets all business objectives through coordination with appropriate functions to ensure business, commercial and technology requirements are met or exceeded
  • Plan and manage the inbound material supply line to achieve Supply Chain objectives for quality, delivery, cost and flexibility.
  • Identify and implement process improvements within the planning/procurement process

Also, you will manage complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Excellent management and interpersonal skills
  • Expertise in contract negotiation and risk analysis
  • Good presentation skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated, good project and resource management skills
  • Ability to lead a team, Ability to adapt to change
  • Willing to travel, regionally and globally
  • Able to develop tools and guidelines
  • Proficient PC Office Applications, Familiar with systematic management tools (e.g. Power BI)


Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • 5+ years' experience in strategic procurement within a technology driven company, preferably within electronics or contract manufacturing
  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Management, or Supply Chain Management is a plus.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written) and an excellent communicator.
