Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage and lead a team. Each day, you will guide your team to develop, implement, and facilitate successful onboarding and adoption of digital platform and solutions into the customer's business environment. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting the customer's subsequent operations and maintenance, in specific aspects of software engineering. The work model for the role is: #LI - Onsite This role contributes to the Digital Solutions Engineering function in the India Region. Main stakeholders include customers, project teams, and business representatives. You will be mainly accountable for: • Team Leadership & Project Management: Manage and guide a team in projects and services, ensuring effective execution of MES and automation solutions. • Software Development & Implementation: Oversee design, development, implementation, testing, and support of MES software following best practices. • Diagnostics & Troubleshooting: Perform complex diagnostics on MES infrastructure, software, and interfaces to ensure seamless operations. • Process Analysis & Optimization: Analyze existing processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose effective solutions for enhancement. • Collaboration & Customer Communication: Work closely with customers during implementation and support phases while sharing knowledge and participating in code reviews. • Technical Documentation: Develop and maintain product development documentation to ensure clarity and traceability.

Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, or a related discipline, with 3+ years as a Software Developer and 10+ years in project execution handling automation and MES.
- Expertise in C#/.Net, WPF/XAML, WCF, WinForms, JavaScript, JSON, XML, HTML5, CSS, ReactJS, along with Web Services (REST, WSDL/SOAP), MSSQL, and source control (TFS).
- Strong understanding of software architecture, code quality assurance, unit testing, and static code analysis.
- Experience in diagnostics, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of MES infrastructure and interfaces.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage projects, and effectively communicate with stakeholders.
- Additional knowledge of C/C++, OPC (DA, HDA, UA) & COM, PLC/DCS, and UX design is beneficial.
