Production Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to ensure efficient and cost-effective production results. Each day, you will be responsible to meet order demand, specifications, quality, and planning targets through the coordination and management of plant equipment, personnel, and production processes (quantity, quality, budgeted costs, and proper productivity level). You will also showcase your expertise by developing programs, projects, goals, and metrics to lead the organization to the highest level of operational performance while optimizing working capital throughout Operations. The work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite This role is contributing to the Nema Motors division in Tlajomulco de Zuñiga, Jalisco. You will be mainly accountable for: • Monitor and ensure compliance with production metrics, including output, quality, safety, and productivity. • Collaborate closely with key departments such as Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, and Service to achieve operational objectives. • Develop and implement new layouts and oversee the introduction of new machinery. • Maintain effective communication with external clients, including conducting plant visits. • Lead and manage work teams, fostering positive relationships with unions.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Administration
• 5+ years of experience in a similar manager position and 7 to 10 years of experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Proficient in the knowledge and management of production equipment, including CNC, coiling, and assembly processes.
• Experienced in leading and managing operational personnel, including unionized teams.
• Advanced skills in SAP and Microsoft Office applications.
• PowerBi management as a desirable.
• Advanced English communication skills.
