TheHoneywell Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning System (EGPWS) reduces the risk ofcontrolled flight into terrain (CFIT) by providing flight crews with timely,accurate information about terrain and obstacles in the area. The system usesvarious aircraft inputs and aninternal database to predict and warn flight crews of potential conflicts withobstacles or terrain. Additional features include SmartRunway and SmartLandingsystems, developed to help flight crews avoid potential runway incursions andexcursions

As an Advanced Systems Engineer within the Communication, Navigation & Surveillance (CN&S) Avionics group, you will play a critical role in the design, implementation, and management of sophisticated Avionics systems and solutions, notably our Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning System (EGPWS) product lines. You will impact the development and advancement of Avionics technology, ensuring the safety, efficiency, and reliability of aircraft systems.
In this role, you will have the opportunityto work on cutting-edge projects that have a tangible impact on theworld. Your work will contribute to the advancement of technologies thatenhance terrain and situational awareness and help prevent controlled flightinto terrain (CFIT) incidents.

Key Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing advanced avionics systems, including EGPWS (Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning System) products
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams consisting of Systems, Software, Hardware and Test Engineers to understand customer requirements and provide innovative solutions
- Author high-level systems requirements in DOORs
- Conduct system-level analysis and optimization
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of systems
- Systems integration, validation, & verification
- Model-based systems design and development
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Systems Engineering, ideally in the avionics, aerospace or related disciplines
- Proficiency in system-level analysis and optimization
