PE Nacelle Tools defines the Tooling solutions used in Vestas Nacelle factories worldwide. Oue scope vary from implementing smaller equipment-solutions to developing and implementing entire production lines for producing our turbines.
Our main task is to define the concepts and strategies for our tools and equipment solutions.
Our work involves a broad variety of internal and external stakeholders and suppliers. For this position we seek a colleague to cover one of our core technical areas.

Our main task is to define the concepts and strategies for our tools and equipment solutions.
Our work involves a broad variety of internal and external stakeholders and suppliers. For this position we seek a colleague to cover one of our core technical areas.
Responsibilities
- You will become our technical expert in defining how our production lines are to be designed and equipped
- You outline the technical roadmap within your field, and you ensure to futureproof and standardize our solutions across our factories
- You collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, to identify and evaluate tooling requirements and solutions
- Engage in project initiatives, collaborating with diverse teams to establish and realize the optimal tooling solutions for designated factories
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of existing tooling setups to identify areas for improvement and optimization
- Stay updated on industry trends, innovations, and advancements in tooling technology, and incorporate relevant knowledge into the development of tooling concepts
Qualifications
- Master's degree, in Engineering
- Extensive experience in the development of production line setup/ tooling solutions and strategies within a manufacturing environment
- Experience in automation of tool systems, DDM. And integration of solutions with data collection systems
- Ability to analyze complex manufacturing processes and requirements to develop effective tooling solutions
- Communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Skill in strategic thinking and formulating long-term plans for tooling that resonate with organizational priorities
Competencies
- You bring experience in working alongside a variety of teams, stakeholders, and suppliers to integrate mutual goals and offer high-quality results
- You are adept at managing tasks in a fluctuating environment, providing suitable responses to alterations in project guidelines, priorities, and industry trends
- Continuous Improvement Mindset: Proactive attitude towards seeking opportunities for continuous improvement in tooling concepts, processes, and methodologies
- Ability to express complex ideas clearly in both spoken and written forms
- You speak and write technical Danish and English, and you are capable of conveying complex technical concepts and ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
